I’m going to be honest with you… I’m not entirely sure myself. But let me share some things I am sure of.

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in May of 2023 with a B.A. in rhetoric & writing and a minor in business. I chose to study something I enjoy, but I also made that choice understanding that adept use of rhetorical strategy can provide a key advantage for any business. Marketing without rhetoric is like Chandler before Monica: lost and kinda clueless. Together they carry the show. (Forget about Ross and Rachel. Their relationship was unhealthy anyway.)

I know how to target your audience. Working odd jobs throughout college has taught me how to expertly identify whom I’m addressing, what they need, and how to get them to want it from me. From retail sales in Houston to content creation and client communications in Spain, I’ve probably been there or done that. Perhaps both.

I love writing. Go figure, it’s my job right? But I love to write as a hobby too. How many can say they leave their 9-5 to go home and decompress by doing more of the same work? At least one person (shown to the right [it’s me]). I hope to turn hobby writing into a second stream of income someday, but unfortunately there is no audience for a 23 year old’s 3 a.m. stream-of-consciousness style ramblings yet.
